We are a mixed Year 3/4 class.
Mrs Carrington is our class teacher.
We are supported by Mrs Woolmington and Mrs K Thomas.
Mrs M Thomas teaches us on a Wednesday afternoon.
Class Key Information:
PE and Swimming
We have PE on Fridays.
Pease come to school dressed in your PE kit ready.
Later in this term, Year 4 children will be going swimming on a Thursday morning.
Homework
Each week, children are a set an amount of practise on TTRockStars and EdShed.
Please read with your child daily.
Phonics books are changed every Wednesday.
Accelerated Reader books are changed after quizzing. Children should aim to quiz once a week.

Formal Written Methods
In Year 3, the children begin to learn the formal written methods for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division (column and bus stop). If you would like to support your child with this at home, please take a look at our calculation policy to see how we teach them at school.

Reading Cafe
We began our first day in Hazel Class with a Reading Cafe. The children "tasted" lots of different books from Mrs Carrington's bookshelf.
